This website constitutes a collection of mathematical talks and events organized by members of the Faculty of Mathematics of the NAWI Graz consortium, which includes the University of Graz and the Technical University of Graz.

Data Protection

As a subservice of NAWI Graz, this website is subject to NAWI Graz's Data Protection Declaration . In particular, when this website is visited, our web server temporarily stores each access in a log file. The recorded data includes the IP address of the requesting computer, the date and time of access, the name and URL of the retrieved data, the amount of data transferred, a notice whether the retrieval was successful, and the browser type and operating system used. This data is collected for the purpose of enabling the use of the website (establishing a connection), ensuring system security and stability, and for administrative purposes. The data is deleted after a maximum of 14 days, unless further storage is required for evidentiary purposes in the event of attacks on the web server or other unauthorized use.

For authorized users who possess a user account for this service in order to supply content, the following additional data is stored: the user name, the email address, the date of registration and the last login date, as well as a history of the user's contributions. This data is stored until the user account is deleted (which can be requested at any time) or until the service is discontinued.
